Synchronized Skating Takes Division Title at Pacific Coast Sectionals

ROCHESTER, Minn. (2/6/11) – For the fourth straight year, the University of Colorado synchronized skating team is bringing home a title.

The Buffaloes finished first in the open-collegiate division at the Pacific Coast Sectional Championships on Saturday at Graham Arena.

“We skated one of our best programs of the year,” said team president Elise Krueger. “It was a great finish to our season.”

This is the fourth straight year that CU has won their division at sectionals.

Next year, Colorado will look to move up into the qualifying collegiate division at sectionals. However in order to do that, the team will have to find three additional skaters. Presently there are nine skaters on the team.
