Tickets for the show cost $5 and can be bought at the CU softball table in the University Memorial Center (across from the Alfred Packard Grill) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every day until the show. The price will increase to $8 if purchased at the door.
The Buffs are currently 9-1 on the season and the money the team raises from the movie will help fund their trip to nationals in Columbus, Ga. in April.
"We are hoping to get a large turnout to this event so we can help pay our way to the national tournament in April," said team president Anna Wilcoxen. "Please come out and support the CU softball team."
This is the third year that the team has been showing Warren Miller films and has become the club's largest fundraiser. The softball team and Warren Miller's relationship began in 2009 when former coach and current Warren Miller Entertainment employee, Fiachra Stokes, set up the film showing as a fundraiser.
People in attendance will also receive a buy one, get one free lift ticket to Copper Mountain or Winter Park. The team will also raffle off other great prizes at the show.
