Women's Soccer Plays to 2-2 Draw versus Rams

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (9/17/10) -- For the second time in a week the Colorado Buffaloes women's club soccer team couldn't top Colorado State as both teams played to a 2-2 tie on Friday night.

Going into stoppage time it looked like CU was going to get revenge over the Rams from their loss in the Rocky Mountain College Cup on Sept. 11 as they were up 2-1 late. However CSU scored in the first minute of extra time to force the draw.

Next up for Colorado is the CU Invitational that they will host from Thursday Sept. 23 to Sunday Sept. 26 in Boulder. Other than the three CU squads, the teams that will be competing at the tournament include St. Louis, Northern Colorado, Arizona, Salt Lake Community College, Western State, Laramie County Community College, Nebraska, Bradley, Colorado State, California, Colorado School of Mines, Western Nebraska Community College, Southern California, and Denver.
