BOULDER (9/6/10) - The Colorado Buffaloes men's rugby team began their fall season with a rousing 43-23 Friday night victory over the Boulder Rugby Club. Starting choppy, the Buffaloes were only able to muster a lone try and penalty kick to find themselves trailing 12-8 at the half.
Some quality mid-game adjustments saw CU come to life and poke in several scores in the second half to run out to a good lead and never look back.
On Sunday the Buffs added another victory with a hard fought win over the Colorado School of Mines. CU travels north to Laramie, Wyo. this weekend for the annual Jackalope tournament to continue their fall development. CU Rugby website
