WICHITA, Kan. (11/10/10) - The University of Colorado crew team had a great weekend at the Frostbite Regatta on Nov. 7 with the Buffaloes picking up 87 medals and six wins in 11 events.
CU's men's open 8, men's novice 8, men's second novice 8, women's novice 8 and women's second novice 8 all finished first in their events while men's open novice 4 finished first and second.
Women's open 4 and women's collegiate both finished second in their competitions.
Men's open pairs, men's open 4 and women's open pairs all grabbed first and second place finishes
The Buffs will now head inside for indoor training before the season resumes on Apr. 16 at the Southern Collegiate Rowing Association Regatta in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
